Our Favorite Client Testimonials from a Spring Corporate Team Building Event

Corporate Team Building ActivityEarlier this quarter, we hosted a corporate team building event for Bay Area client, Geron. The company’s Senior Director of HR, Stephanie, helped organize the event for her group. We could just share her feedback with you, but we thought it’d be even better to pair her kind words with actual photos from her hands-on cooking event.

Team Building Client Testimonial

“I chose PTC because we were looking to schedule a party that was more interactive than sitting around a hotel ballroom.”

This particular team needed a break; to get away from work and connect with each other. According to Stephanie, “It was the perfect outing for our company given all the recent changes and roadblocks we’ve faced. It was well set up to allow our employees to engage and interact with one another rather than being passive and sitting around in the usual cliques. A great event for our employees to leave work at the office and enjoy the company of their colleagues over a great lunch and drinks!

Geron Hands-On Cooking Party

“PTC had every detail covered so we didn’t have to.”

PTC Event Manager, Kelle, took the lead on organizing this event. Stephanie’s feedback? “Kelle was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and had great advice on helping me get the right venue and ambiance for a great event. She was extremely patient with me, particularly each time I came back with a change of plans (sorry!) that no doubt required her to do more work on my behalf. I appreciate all her diligence and thoroughness for making this event go without a hitch!

Going above and beyond for our clients is not a hassle, it’s just part of the job.

Hands On Cooking Event

“Everyone enjoyed cooking and eating the food!”

Stephanie added that not having to worry about the little thingsallowed the attendees to truly relax and enjoy the experience of cooking great food! And she enjoyed the great menu options, stating, “I couldn’t have asked for a better selection of food options.”

Team Building Bay Area

“It is evident you love what you do and each of your staff members carry that pride with them through their work.”

“Everyone thought the venue was beautiful, the lunch menu was great and your staff was helpful and humorous! The staff looked like they were having a great time, interacted well with each other and were very knowledgeable and well prepared. We had a great event and your staff was instrumental in making it happen! Kudos to your company and team.

Confessions of a Parties That Cook Staff Member

For this round of Parties That Cook “Confessions” we bring you thoughts from one of our event servers. She reflects on the her first impression of PTC, as well as what she’s noticed since joining our team.

Proud Guests

When I first saw the posting that PTC was hiring event servers, I was intrigued. I immediately clicked through to the PTC website and found myself impressed by the concept. Guests work together, sharing ideas and contributing to one goal: making a fantastic meal.

It’s also impressive to see how a woman-owned business has grown into what it is today. PTC is now a private and corporate event powerhouse, well established in 4 major US cities. It’s easy to understand how this happened…
– PTC Founder and CEO, Bibby Gignilliat, is very involved in the company’s operations and direction.
– The hard work and dedication of each member in the PTC family is apparent in the office and at every event.
– Wonderful testimonials from the clients after events means we must be doing something right!

Corporate Team BondingI have loved being a server for Parties That Cook since October, 2013. With my corporate background, I especially love the idea of bringing colleagues together. Our guests may hold positions at different levels within an organization, and they may or may not work together on a daily basis, but coming to a Parties That Cook event, they will bond.  Hands-on cooking is an excellent corporate team building activity for any organization. Connections made, bonds strengthened, and communication improved at a Parties That Cook event will carry over into the office.
